A Ventuz presentation for the good cause

Agency: av haus Hamburg

‚steps for children’ is a child relief project for AIDS-orphans in Okakarara/Namibia. It offers these children orderly school education and a soup kitchen.

The goal of the project ‚steps for children’ is to become independent from donations by generating an income through self-directed projects, such as an olive plantation, a sewing room and a bicycle shop.

Until now, the founder of ‘steps for children’ Dr. Michael Hoppe used PowerPoint presentations for the acquisition of donations and public relations events. But this highly emotional subject can hardly be transported appropriately through PowerPoint. Therefore, the agency av haus Hamburg revised all PowerPoint slides and imported them into a 3D Ventuz presentation.

The slides were positioned in front of a rotating globe. The camera dynamically moves from slide to slide, thereby slowly approaching the continent. Also, a five-minute image film can be played at any point in the presentation.

Dr. Michael Hoppe is very excited about this new way of visualization. His wish for the future: a high-power tablet with Win7 and a second graphics card outlet.
