Multitouch-Table at the Automechanika 2010

MANN-FILTER took a leap into a new dimension of self presentation. They chose stereolize and Ventuz to upgrade their presence at the Automechanika 2010 in Frankfurt.

At the world's leading automotive trade fair, the German company MANN-FILTER decided to surprise their clients with a fully custom-created interactive multi-touch table. Our trusted partner stereolize used our newest release, Ventuz 3, to create this stunning piece of infomedia!

 


On over 6 meters length about a dozen visitors were able to experience MANN-FILTER simultaneously. The S-shaped “Flow Table” provided an intuitive touch-interface for a vast amount of information about the MANN-FILTER product portfolio. Lots of interactive elements, including 3D animated models, graphics and movies could be accessed easily.

With a complex combination of touch-interaction and fiducials, the content not only understood on which side of the table the onlooker stood, but also gave each visitor access to the exact information they were interested in.





With this new and innovative product, stereolize managed to raise the benchmark for intelligent multi-touch interfaces. Relevance of content in combination with beautifully designed User Interfaces will change the future perception of multitouch applications.
