Volvo Russia uses Ventuz for automotive presentation to launch the new Volvo Concept Coupé.
For the introduction of the new Volvo Concept Coupé in Moscow, the Russian agency i-Technol designed a high-end presentation filled with immersive 3D content. Using a variety of virtual car models, the presentation illustrated the history of Volvo leading up to the their newest development, the Concept Coupé. A Christie Roadster S+16k projected the content onto a holographic foil on stage, giving the impression of the cars floating in thin air. Real-time calculation power was provided by an AMD FirePro graphics card.
The entire presentation was made interactive via a custom iPad app. i-Technol chose Ventuz for this project due to the easy development opportunities for multi-touch content and the handling of 3D models in real-time.
