Cinema 4D Live-Integration!
Cinema4D modeling and import in realtime made possible by the Live Link! Create and alter your models in realtime.
The Integration is made possible through a third party plugin created by Ventuz. The general principle of the Live Link is that you simply use Ventuz Tags on Objects to make them linkable. You decide to import a whole subtree or individual objects. After an Object has been tagged it will be made available for Ventuz and by using the Live Import Node you access the objects from Cinema 4D. Geometries, Animations, Materials and Textures are just a few of the possible elements that Ventuz can import. Animations can be based on Keyframes or you make use of the built in Meshbaker which creates a whole Meshsequence by a single click. The Cinema 4D Live Link is an astonishing way of importing geometries into Ventuz and on top modify them in realtime. The Live Link demostrates Ventuz WYSIWYG functionality at its finest. Its a timesaver when it comes to quick prototyping since you do not need to reimport your creations and see your changes immediately.
Say good bye to the Import and Export process – use the Live Link! You can link your Cinema4D scene “Live” into Ventuz. By doing so you can modify and update your meshes in realtime. Save a lot of time if you create your virtual set, since you do not need to import and export your whole set everytime you apply small changes to it. If you move or scale your models, you will see the result immediately in Ventuz Designer.
Cameras and Animations
Tag and import Cameras and their animation into Ventuz, change their values on the fly and feel like a director. Create your meshes and animate them however you like, using the bake mesh option from within the Live Link to make sure it will be imported into Ventuz as you like.
Textures and Materials
Build your standard materials inside Cinema 4D and apply textures. The Live Link will also import all these values and textures into Ventuz. You can change the material values and textures at any time and Ventuz will apply the changes in realtime.
One very unique feature using the Live Link is to make use of 3D Splines. By now its the only way to get 3D Splines into Ventuz and make use of them as a path for several Ventuz features. Use the generated path to draw particles along it, have an object follow the path and so on…
