Telstra shows off with Ventuz

Telstra, one of Australia‘s biggest telecommunication companies, launches an innovative multimedia showroom in their headquarters in Melbourne.

In August 2012, Telstra opened the doors to their new showroom located in their headquarters in Melbourne, Australia. German agency stereolize created an interactive Ventuz installation to show the innovations that Telstra is bringing to the world of communication.

Via an interactive holo-terminal, visitors can select one of four topics: health, business, living, and learning. Details on each topic are then visualized on an impressive video wall consisting of 39 individual screens. The wall itself is made interactive by five radarTOUCH lasers running simultaneously, turning the entire video wall into one giant touchscreen. By navigating through the intuitive interfaces, visitors can learn how communication technology will improve everyday life in the future.
