SEFCU equips their new headquarter in Albany with a sophisticated interactive setup.

For their new headquarter in Albany, New York, SEFCU wanted to put into reality the bank of the future. They commissioned the agency stereolize to assist them with this elaborate endeavor. Using Ventuz as their primary software tool, stereolize created an interactive room with a large video wall and a multi-touch table, both of which served as information hubs and service stations at the same time.

Visitors can use the interactive interfaces to get a wide variety of information on the bank’s company and products. Also, the installation features a loan calculator for the purchases of a new home, a new car or an education. When larger groups are present, the room can be turned into ‘cinema mode’, in which the touch table serves as the interface for the video wall. Thus, one person can present to many and everyone has a chance to receive the information they need.

To enable the bank’s staff to control the presentation content of the showroom by themselves, stereolize developed a sophisticated web-based management system. Not only does it allow the user to change individual bits of information, but it also gives the possibility to alter the entire presentation structure. Consequently, the SEFCU showroom is always up-to-date.

As impressive as the showroom is on the content side, it also features a few highlights in terms of the technical setup. Both the video wall and the touch table run fluently in 4k 50fps from a single Ventuz server each. stereolize utilized the latest AMD Firepro W9100 graphics boards to supply the real-time power. One backup machine is installed as well to ensure absolute reliability.
