Ventuz 8.2 introduces a range of powerful updates and refinements designed to enhance both workflow and creative control. Key features include improvements to the FBX importer, support for manual animation rigs, a complete overhaul of Render to Disk, and point cloud import capabilities.

FBX importer improvements

We’ve upgraded to the official Autodesk FBX SDK, bringing much better FBX compatibility. That means stronger skinning and rigging, reliable vertex-cache–based mesh animation, and smooth support for almost any FBX file you work with.

Render to disk overhaul

The render to disk dialog has been completely refreshed with a cleaner, more intuitive interface, expanded codec support, and a long list of bug fixes. New options include AVC (H.264), HEVC (H.265), AV1 video codecs in an MP4 container, as well as MP3 and Opus audio support.

Point cloud import

Point cloud imports are now automatically converted into Particle system nodes, making them easier to visualize, manipulate, and integrate into your scenes 

Smaller but powerful features

Smaller but impactful additions include a fixed monitoring refresh rate, new vx nodes, per-word text effects, a new Director preview window, and an arrow-on-sphere tool, all aimed at providing a smoother, more versatile experience for studios, live event professionals, and interactive content creators.
