Ventuz Director

Welcome to Ventuz Director, a template-based control application that makes it easier than ever to run an interactive show using the amazing Ventuz 3D presentation technology. This manual is split into multiple sections of increasing skill level. The Introduction gives new users a quick tour of the general concepts of Director and the essential steps required to get your very first show up and running. The other sections have a more in-depth character and deal with one component each.

Since Director has been specifically designed to be easy to use, it is a completely valid approach to just play with the application itself and discover things on your own. However, Director introduces some new concepts and workflows that you will most likely not have seen in any other applications. So even (or rather especially) if you have experience with similar products, by reading this manual you will most likely find things that will tremendously speed up your workflow.

We therefore strongly advise you to start at the beginning and continue reading in the suggested order until you feel comfortable using Director. While the topics discussed in earlier sections are usually required to understand the sections that follow them, some of the latter sections may not even be relevant to your needs. They might however also contain things that revolutionize your existing workflow completely!
