How CanvasPro brings media server quality to digital signage
A word from the Ventuz team
“There is nothing else like CanvasPro on the market today.”
One player. Two worlds, finally on the same machine.
Until now, ambitious display projects forced a choice. Media servers gave you broadcast-grade graphics, cue-and-take control, and the visual fidelity audiences expect from television, but they were never built for the day-to-day rhythm of digital signage. Digital signage players gave you scheduling, content management, and operational simplicity, but the visual ceiling sat far below what live production demands.
CanvasPro One closes that gap. It is a digital signage player that runs media server workflows, powered by the Ventuz real-time 3D graphics engine. One product, one operator interface, one rendering pipeline: the cue and take of live production sitting alongside the scheduling and automation of always-on signage.
Broadcast-grade rendering, in the signage rack.
The engine inside CanvasPro One is the same Ventuz Runtime that has driven live broadcasts for Disney, Fox Sports, and the NBA for more than twenty years. That heritage shows up in every frame on the wall.
Physically-based rendering with a full HDR pipeline puts the visual standard of broadcast television on every connected display. Multi-machine clustering renders seamlessly across canvases of any size, resolution, or aspect ratio, so a project does not stop scaling at the limits of a single workstation. Real-time 3D, multi-touch input, and gesture interaction turn a static display into a surface that reacts to the room.

Live data, professional I/O, full show control.
A modern signage operation is not just pictures on a screen, it is a node in a wider production stack. CanvasPro One was built with that in mind.
Live data visualisation pulls in databases, JSON feeds, and external APIs, so prices, scores, schedules, and stats appear on screen the moment they change at the source. Professional video I/O over SDI, NDI, and SRT lets the player sit naturally inside broadcast and AV signal chains. Show control over DMX, Art-Net, OSC, and MIDI keeps lighting, audio, and stage hardware in lockstep with the picture. The result is one orchestrated environment instead of three systems trying to stay in sync.
“CanvasPro is what happens when media server quality and digital signage simplicity stop being a trade-off. The Ventuz engine inside the box is the reason the standard does not move when the workflow gets easier.“
