The Tipping Point Community is an organization based in San Francisco, USA, that fights poverty in the Bay Area. For their annual fundraiser, which took place on May 5th at the Bill Graham Auditorium, lead agency E2k hired agency 3monkeys to equip the main stage with a large LED wall and high-end presentation content.
The LED wall measured 280 square meters, 11,000 by 2,000 pixels in total. 3monkeys designed and produced the real-time screen content, including an opener, general gala templates, auction elements and a live donation implementation. The fundraiser was done via mobile phones in the room. 3monkeys developed a database to collect the data and stream it live into the Ventuz machine, which translated the information into live graphics and displayed honor names and the donation amount on the LED wall.
Ventuz proved to be the perfect choice for this event not only because it offered absolute flexibility in a short production time, but also because the pixel mapping functionalities of Ventuz resulted in maximum crispness and brightness of the graphics.
The Tipping Point Benefit raised $13.3 million and was a great success in the ingoing battel of fighting poverty.
