At last year’s Automechanika in Frankfurt, Danish manufacturer Nissens A/S used two high-end touch tables by MultiTaction to show their enormous products & services portfolio in a futuristic fashion. The digital agency Moov who was hired to put this concept into reality, relied on the Ventuz software suite to create an interactive presentation that used object recognition as well as classic interaction.
Initially, the portfolio was divided into five categories, two for products and three for services, and an object was assigned to each category. When placed onto the screen, each object opened a menu corresponding with its category with 3 to 7 topics that provided additional information. The easy integration of various interactive technologies made it especially easy to set up the entire presentation in Ventuz while retaining full control over the content.
For the process categories, movies, images and text files were loaded into the presentation to show the wide range of Nissens’s capabilities. The product categories were equipped with a multitude of 3D models. Visitors could rotate and scale each model and receive a full visual representation and detailed information. Here, Moov profited from the LiveLink between Ventuz and Cinema 4D, which allows a seamless workflow between the two software tools.
As a special eyecatcher, Moov also created a 3D holographic installation at the center of the booth. Animations and graphics playback were triggered by Ventuz, making Moov’s the go-to software tool for this project.
