The Value Filter node can filter frequencies of a certain range in a stream of incoming data. This is especially useful if a signal is jittery and the higher frequency jitter should be eliminated, where the data signal stays unchanged.
FilterCharacter switches the Value Filter between a lowpass, bandpass or highpass filter characteristics as shown below.
Cutoff sets the normalized cutoff frequency for the filter in the range 0 (lowest) to 1 (highest mathematical correct frequency).
Bypass simply bypasses the filter and the output value is equal the input value.
Reset: There is a small internal buffer for the filter. The Reset method clears the buffer.
